1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using G8KEPR ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

These Terms apply to all users, including free trial users, paid subscribers, and Enterprise customers.

2. Description of Service

G8KEPR provides an API security platform that includes:

• JWT authentication and authorization
• Rate limiting and quota management
• Real-time threat detection and blocking
• Compliance audit logging
• API analytics and monitoring
• Circuit breaker patterns
• Plugin system for extensibility

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time.

3. Account Registration

3.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

3.3 Accurate Information

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep it updated.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

5. Payment Terms

5.1 Billing

• Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance
• Prices are in USD and exclude applicable taxes
• You authorize us to charge your payment method on each billing cycle
• Failed payments may result in service suspension after 7 days

5.2 Free Trial

We offer a 14-day free trial. No credit card required. Trial automatically expires unless you subscribe.

5.3 Refunds

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for first-time subscribers. After 30 days, all fees are non-refundable. Refunds are prorated for annual subscriptions canceled within 30 days.

5.4 Price Changes

We may change our prices with 30 days notice. Price changes do not affect existing annual subscriptions until renewal.

6. Usage Limits and Quotas

Each plan includes specific usage limits:

• Starter: 1M API requests/month
• Growth: 10M API requests/month
• Enterprise: Unlimited requests

Exceeding your plan limits will result in rate limiting (not blocking). We'll notify you at 80% and 95% of quota. You can upgrade your plan anytime to increase limits immediately.

7. Data and Intellectual Property

7.1 Your Data

You retain all rights to your data. We claim no ownership over your content, API logs, or customer data. You grant us a limited license to process your data solely to provide the Service.

7.2 Our IP

G8KEPR, our logo, and all related trademarks are our property. The Service's underlying technology, software, and documentation are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

8. Service Level Agreement (SLA)

We commit to 99.9% uptime for paid plans:

• Starter/Growth: 99.9% uptime (max 43 minutes downtime/month)
• Enterprise: Custom SLA with service credits for downtime

SLA does not cover downtime due to: scheduled maintenance (with 48hr notice), force majeure, or issues caused by your infrastructure or third-party services.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months
• We do not guarantee the Service will be error-free or uninterrupted
• You are responsible for backing up your data

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold G8KEPR harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service, (b) your violation of these Terms, (c) your violation of any third-party rights, or (d) your violation of any laws or regulations.

11. Termination

11.1 By You

You may cancel your subscription anytime from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your billing period. You can continue using the Service until then.

11.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy
• Fail to pay fees when due
• Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity

11.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your access to the Service will cease. You can export your data within 30 days before it's deleted.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We'll notify you of material changes via email or dashboard notification at least 30 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Your State/Country], excluding conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in court for IP violations or breaches of confidentiality.
